About it all
My name is Ray Borrett and I'm a Methodist Minister in the Camborne, Redruth and Hayle Circuit (That's me with the poppy stole). I have responsibility for Camborne Wesley, Redruth United Methodist Church, Barripper and Angarrack Methodist Churches with responsibility for developing the mission of the churches, as well as implementing the Circuit's Hybrid Worship plan. I am the ecumenical officer for the District. As a family we will soon be moving to the Gwent Hills and Vales Methodist Circuit.
I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa. God called me to ministry as a teenager but I went off and got some life experience. I have served in the ambulance service, climbed and fallen off more than my fair share of mountains, owned a climbing wall and served as chaplain to the Bluewater Shopping Centre as well as being lead Chaplain for Kent Workplace Mission.
I'm married to my wonderful wife Deb for over 20 years. She has had to put up with a lot. (Wives and partners all over the world are nodding in agreement at this point) She'll stand-in for me occasionally on the podcast,

We have recently also adopted two beautiful children and are loving becoming a family.
